An unfolding is part of knowing oneself, the peeling of layers to reveal the authentic you.
For many years we follow as we are led and guided through life by our parents, the teachers and our peers. They help in spotting certain traits that we possess and point us to perceive ourselves from that perspective.
As we grow older we conform to societal norms and even pursue careers that befit the societal trends.
But for most of us, an awakening starts to arise that signal that we are not what a lot of people think we are but deep down we are different.
In most cases we are imposters walking around pleasing and aligning to what we are meant or are seen to be.
But who are you really? What are your frequent thoughts? What makes you smile? When with other people what do you wish they knew about you?If there is one thing you can do perfectly and enjoy what would it be?When you look at things you buy or long to buy , does it speak to you about who you are?Interrogate your thoughts and patterns of doing things including such things as who do you date and why?
By knowing yourself, you become aware of the things that really matter to you that you need to pursue to give your life meaning. By knowing yourself you understand areas that you can work on and improve on to become a better person.By knowing yourself you gain control of leading and defining the experiences you want to have and disentangle from experiences you don't want to have. You become a self leader, to live the life you are destined to enjoy.By knowing yourself you connect and execute your purpose.By knowing yourself you embark on a journey of honoring and loving yourself through choices you make to Be, Do & Have.
